I’m: Pen. Writer, reader, lover of words. Gardener, fond of out-of-doors. Free-spirited, nonconformist, firebrand. I enjoy learning, doing any number of creative things, dancing, quoting things, listening to and playing music, et cetera.
My favorite books have their own page, but my favorite movies include: Captain America, The Wizard of Oz, Emma, Cranford, Arsenic and Old Lace, Spider-Man, The Lord of the Rings, Sherlock (series one), childhood classics, The Wind in the Willows, the new Alice in Wonderland.
Random other favorite things include the colors gray and blue, spiders, honeybees, Jars of Clay, the Great Lakes, winter and fall, old-fashioned things, rivers, rocks, keys, hawks and falcons, postage stamps, accents, birds, weather, and the moon.
Now I shall tell you a bit about some of the other people you will see mentioned on this blog…
My mom, my dad, my two younger brothers (Dodge and Poncho, in order of birth), my grandparents (Grandma and Grandpa Vegas… although Grandpa likes to make up different names for himself, such as “Turtle Grandpa”), and my best friends (the DHFs: Eliza, Steph, and Bug). The aforementioned people are simply… awesome. Which is why they find their way into these posts a lot.

I’ve read some of your work through apricotpie.com (even though I’m not a homeschooler). I just happened to find that website and it was pretty interesting. Well, anyway, I think you are a really great writer! Seriously….i have never read anything like what you’ve done. Fav right now is White Funeral. !!!!

I’ve read some of your stuff on AP (I’m a member also) and I just wanted to let you know that I’m adding this to my favorites so I won’t ever lose it. =D I’m so sad about AP, but it was such a good experience. =D
